The Smashing Pumpkins Covered A David Bowie Song With Die Antwoord’s Ninja

While playing in Paris this weekend, the Billy Corgan Experience, a.k.a. the Smashing Pumpkins, brought out Ninja from Die Antwoord to cover David Bowie’s “Fame,” because Mad Libs are fun. The performance is almost as unfortunate as Corgan’s shirt — “Fame” is not a song that needs a rap verse about Billy being “the baddest.” Accurate, but not in the way Ninja intended.
