Usually, it’s Fox, but last night, it was CBS, which played a montage of sad One Direction fans crying over the departure of Zayn Malik. One of the poor saps wasn’t actually heartbroken, though; he was just pretending to be… unless that’s what he wants us to think. Ben Berst is secretly hoping he’s picked to replace Zayn. Then in a year, he’ll leave, making teen girls somber all over again. It’s the circle of life, not to be confused with the circle of death: the Sun.
