You wouldn’t think a festival curated by Jay Z with Rihanna, Lil Wayne, 2 Chainz, Jamie xx and Chance The Rapper at the top of the bill would need to do much to get the word out. But it’s a festival-saturated world and Jigga is pulling out all the stops. In the month leading up to the 2016 Made in America festival, Jay Z is sharing promo clips of artists who will be performing, and now it’s Lil Yachty’s turn.

Though, in a just world, no one should have to be told about an artist who can turn a shopping cart into a party, the clip serves as a good primer about the Summer Songs 2 eccentric. In the interview, he reveals that he doesn’t drink, smoke or go to clubs, preferring to spend that time in the studio working on new material. He also comes right for the throat of his critics, who look upon his sing-song, auto-tuned raps and despair.

“I hate serious rap, it’s so boring. Serious rap music puts me to sleep,” he said, presumably before burning a picture of Nas off-camera.

Check out the whole clip up top and for more Yachty, revisit his debut mixtape Lil Boat or take a look at the gorgeous “Wanna Be Us” music video.
