Hillary Clinton isn’t playing any games when it comes to securing the black vote. Throughout this eventful election, Hilldawg has Whip/Nae Nae’d, sold sassy “Yaaas Hillary!” t-shirts, was endorsed by The Obamas, feverishly expressed her love for both Beyonce and hot sauce, and most recently, awkwardly listened to Mary J. Blige sing to her about police brutality.
But despite all that effort, the latest numbers are indicating a dip in black support for Clinton while four-time bankrupt businessman Donald Trump experiences a slight bump. According to a Los Angeles Times/University of Southern California tracking poll, Clinton’s black support has plummeted from 90.4 percent on Sept. 10 to 71.4 percent with Trump at a surprising 19.6 percent. Luckily, Pusha T is here to help.
The G.O.O.D Music rapper is lending Clinton his celebrity in an effort to get more people registered to vote because dear god is this election super important to say the least. Per a tweet, when unregistered voters register on Clinton’s website via a special link, they’ll automatically be entered to win a chance to meet Pusha T. Clinton will even foot the airfare for the luckily winner and a friend.
This isn’t the first time Pusha T has linked up with Clinton. Clinton initially FaceTimed the rapper over the summer to help her boost voter registration. Pusha also sold pro-Hillary, “Delete Your Account” t-shirts after Clinton dismantled Trump with the three-worded tweet.
