All hell broke loose at 4pm Tuesday when NFL free agency officially started. It began with an explosive trade that sent Saints Pro Bowl TE Jimmy Graham to the Seattle Seahawks in exchange for center Max Unger and a first round pick.
Saints and Seattle have now agreed on trade sending jimmy graham and a 4 to Seattle for max Unger and a 1st

When asked about Jimmy Graham two months ago, defensive tackle Michael Bennett offered this scathing takedown.
Overrated huh? The rest of the NFL doesn’t feel the same way.
I texted a 49ers scout about Jimmy Graham trade and he sent me back one word: "F–k."

Folk? Flik?

Haloti Nagta traded to Lions, per @aaronwilson.
— Adam Schefter (@AdamSchefter) March 10, 2015
The Lions are shoring up their defensive line after the loss of Ndamukong Suh to the Miami Dolphins and replaced him with 31-year-old Haloti Ngata of the Ravens. Ngata will be a good run stopper for the Lions who may move to the 3-4 defense as a result.
When asked to comment about the loss of Ngata, the Ravens responded…
RT @Ravens Haloti Ngataworkhere anymore

Next up…
Chip Kelly traded QB Nick Foles for oft-injured QB Sam Bradford of the Rams because what in the world is going on here?
Filed to ESPN: Rams close to trading QB Sam Bradford to Philadelphia for Nick Foles and draft-pick compensation, per sources.

Either Chip Kelly is a genius or Stephen A. Smith is just stupid – or both. Who knows.

Then, seemingly out of nowhere, Titans QB Jake Locker retired.
Jake Locker: “I’m retiring from football after much reflection and discussion with my family.Always grateful for having had the opportunity”
— Ian Rapoport (@RapSheet) March 10, 2015
Locker, by the way, was the eighth overall pick just four years ago. He ends his career with 30 appearances having missed 18 games the last two seasons due to injury. Also, maybe he just wasn’t good.
Jake Locker's official retirement reason? I'm not good. I dig self awareness.

Moving on…
In somewhat hilariously sad news, the Bears basically gave up on Brandon Marshall and got a 5th round pick in exchange for his services. Needless to say, that relationship deteriorated rather quickly.
Actual trade compensation in Brandon Marshall trade: Jets get Chicago’s 7th-round pick plus Marshall for NY's 5th-round pick, per NFL source

Finally, as if things couldn’t get any crazier, SI’s Peter King accidentally retweeted a fake Ian Rapoport account.
This more or less sums up today’s activity.
First five minutes of NFL free agency is better than the first five months of MLB season.

*UPDATE: Things did get crazier because Revis Island is headed home.
I want to thank the Pats and Pats Nation for an unbelievable year. NEW YORK I'm coming home. #revisisland #jetnation pic.twitter.com/KQE3Yc1orz
