Oh, and did we mention we're wearing these jerseys on Wednesday, July 1st for Hump Day? http://t.co/YLmEbmnbCW pic.twitter.com/2sza7JA1ec

Like a lot of advertising campaigns, the Geico “Hump Day” ads – which feature a camel getting hyped over it being a Wednesday – have been beaten deep into the ground. Whatever appeal they had is now gone.
Yet Geico decided it would be cool to team up with the Lehigh Valley IronPigs, the Triple-A affiliate of the Philadelphia Phillies, and make special camel uniforms for one of the team’s games this season. While this is a bit corny, it’s all for a really good cause, as the jerseys will be auctioned off after the game to benefit IronPigs Charities and the Lehigh Valley Zoo.
This isn’t the first time that the IronPigs have done a promotion that’s a bit out there. You may remember that the team wore bacon-themed uniforms last season, and in 2013 the club gave away a funeral to a fan.
The jersey auction will take place during the IronPigs’ game against the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Railriders on July 1.
