Despite losing out on a big chunk of change when he couldn’t lose 0.4 pounds ahead of his title fight, Adrien Broner is still a very rich man as he is worth an estimated $3 million. Broner is, of course, a big rival to Floyd “Money” Mayweather, as the two have continued to jaw at each other in recent months, but on a recent trip to the airport, the former four-weight world champion imitated his rival by flaunting his cash for all to see.
The issue was, however, that Broner had just a little bit too much c for the TSA, and they stopped him to check it out. In their defense, the airport security guards were probably not used to someone bringing that much cold hard cash onto a flight so it was right of them to be a little bit suspicious. Once they realized he was a professional boxer though, it probably answered a lot of their questions.
Considering the amount of bling Broner was wearing, I would imagine getting through the metal detector was also a huge hassle, but such is the struggle of being a multi-millionaire I suppose.
