Remember last year when a guy tapped out to a sprawl and we crowned it the worst MMA fight ever? Yeah, that guy’s definitely got company. This fight starts and ends in the time it took me to type “remember last year.”
According to ME, this went down at Cage Contenders 18 in Belfast, Ireland, and features fighters … “fighters” James Gallagher and Alex McKooke. Gallagher gets namedropped in the video title, so we’ll assume he’s the loser. The fight starts, and dude just drops down and taps out to nothing. End of fight. The guy in the crowd going “AH NAH, AH NAH, AH NAH” has it right.
I’m sure there’s a ton of backstory to this and it makes more sense in context, but going forward I’m assuming Gallagher tapped out when he saw his opponent’s badass fighting stance.
