The San Diego Chargers had quite a rough day against the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday. Quarterback Philip Rivers wasn’t quite himself, either, and the Chargers have managed to score just a single field goal on the day so far. Some of Rivers’ teammates – especially tight end Antonio Gates – seem to be just a little bit frustrated with their quarterback. Gates was seen on the Chargers sideline confronting Rivers and appearing to shout something very close to “I”m going to beat your ass” in his direction. You be the judge.
Regardless of what exactly was said, Gates had to be separated from his quarterback, which is never a good sign. But, hey, maybe this rant from Gates will cause Rivers to play a little bit better.
