*DOINK*
The Broncos’ Aqib Talib let his emotions get the best of him near the end of today’s Colts-Broncos game, jamming a finger into the face mask of Dwayne Allen after some extra-curricular activities. The ref saw it, of course, and gave the Colts an additional 15 yards.
It would turn out to be one of a couple extremely dumb and costly penalties towards the end of the game for Denver, who fell to Indianapolis by a final score of 27-24. For those keeping track at home, Peyton Manning was held just 3 yards shy of eclipsing the all-time yardage record — and this penalty deserves its fair-share of that blame.
UPDATE: Talib has been suspended one game as a result of the incident.
