When Maikel Franco of the Phillies hit the first home run of his career on Sunday, it should have been a cause for celebration for the home crowd. But the only thing the Fox broadcast crew could focus on was the unfortunate incident that happened in the stands afterwards.
Just as one older Phillies fan was reaching into the net to retrieve the ball, a large man came barreling into view and snatched it right out from under her. There was no acknowledgement and no apology; just a man who would stop at nothing to get a souvenir, even if it meant bullying an old lady half his size.
We are pleased to report that, a short time later, the folks from Fox Sports Arizona made things right by joining the fan in the stands to provide her with a free t-shirt, so at least there was still some decency to be had.
And then this happened. Way to go @Dbacks and @FOXSPORTSAZ pic.twitter.com/H13t0OWZwa

As for our bully? Well, let’s just hope he had a young son or daughter tagging along with him. That’s really the only acceptable explanation for a grown man being so aggressive for a silly baseball.
