To you and I, traditional BASE jumping probably seems crazy enough as is. This is because you and I are well-adjusted adults who understand throwing yourself off a cliff or tall building or other structure most people avoid falling off of is an insane idea. But for American Josh Miramant, normal BASE jumping isn’t enough. No, he needed to take it up a notch by doing this:
Yes, he put four, 8mm hooks through the skin of his back and attached the parachute to it. Then he jumped off a 377-foot cliff in Thailand. Miramant survived, but not without spilling some blood for his efforts:
Now he just needs to find a way to skip the hooks and insert the entire chute under the skin.
