Bellator Dynamite 2 Combat Sports Live Discussion – MMA And Kickboxing Together Is Dyno-Fight!

Bellator Dynamite 2

Hi there, fight fans. After a super fun weekend with a ton of great fights, we’re down to a single event to recover. It’s not a typical event, though. We’ve got a double shot disguised as a mega-event.

Bellator 157 starts things off with some online prelims at 6:30 p.m. The final prelim fight should be good, as Justin Lawrence will be in action, and he’s good for some fun kicks. The main card begins at 8 p.m. on Spike TV, and features some solid bouts. Ilima Lei-Macfarlane takes on Rebecca Ruth in flyweight action, we’ve also got Matt Mitrione versus Carl Seumanutafa at heavyweight. The co-main event is a lightweight title bout as Michael Chandler takes on Patricky Pitbull for the vacant belt after then-champion Will Brooks left Bellator. The main event is Quinton “Rampage” Jackson taking on Satoshi Ishii in a bit of a throwback to the PRIDE days.

Don’t turn the TV off at that point, though! Immediately after Bellator 157’s MMA action, Bellator Kickboxing 2: St. Louis closes out the full Dynamite 2 card, starting at 11 p.m. In the main event of the kickboxing card, Joe Schilling takes on Hisaki Kato in a rematch of their Bellator 139 bout. Kato, the MMA guy, knocked out the kickboxer Schilling in a standard MMA fight, so Schilling is looking for revenge on his home turf of the kickboxing ring.
