This may shock you, but there were a lot of photos taken at the Super Bowl this year.
The Denver Broncos took down the Carolina Panthers in Super Bowl 50 in Santa Clara on Sunday night, giving Peyton Manning his second Lombardi Trophy in what may have been his final game as an NFL quarterback. As always, the stage and atmosphere at the Super Bowl was astounding and arguably as captivating as the game itself.
Luckily for you, we’ve gone ahead and gathered some of the best photos of the night at Levi’s Stadium, so enjoy.
The Broncos took the field behind an actual bronco.
Meanwhile, the Panthers enlisted the help of Steph Curry to pump them up.
Hey look, a football game!
Things got off to a rough start for Cam Newton, who was tortured by Von Miller all day.
Newton didn’t have many chances to dab, so the Broncos did it for him.
Jonathan Stewart’s diving touchdown was the most picturesque play of the night, so here are some various angles. It’s an amazing photo no matter which way you look at it.
There weren’t too many highlights from the Panthers’ passing game, but this was one of them.
The halftime show brought a message of positivity.
But things continued to fall apart for Newton and the Panthers in the second half. The quarterback elected not to go all-out for a late-game fumble, which may haunt him for years to come.
It was a very rough night for the NFL’s regular season MVP.
But dreams came true for a lot of Broncos.
As is always the case with big games, where there’s joy, there’s also heartbreak.
Congrats to those who bet on orange for the color of Gatorade.
The two quarterbacks exchanged pleasantries at midfield, and it may have been the last smile Newton had for the night.
But Peyton finally got his hands on a second Super Bowl title.
He seemed to enjoy it.
What Super Bowl photo album would be complete without a creepy Big Brother-esque shot?
It was a great day for some of the Broncos youngsters, too.
And, last but not least, even the cheerleaders had to soak up some of the championship glory.
