Josh Donaldson has been the best player so far this season for the 18-22 Toronto Blue Jays. The squad’s third baseman is on pace to set career-highs in batting average, slugging percentage, OPS and home runs. He showed why he’s one of the best players in the league during Monday’s 10-6 win over the Los Angeles Angels, as Donaldson went 3-for-5 and raised his batting average on the young season to .316.
Donaldson also got into a bit of a shouting match with Angels pitching coach Mike Butchers during the bottom of the sixth inning of today’s game. It didn’t escalate to anything beyond screaming at each other from the dugouts, but Butchers did something that upset the Blue Jays’ MVP candidate, which led to Donaldson screaming, “f*ck you, suck my c*ck” while pointing at his groin.
After the game, Butchers had an opportunity to take a shot at Donaldson, so he called the third baseman “classless.”
#Angels PC Mike Butcher on Donaldson screaming profanities & grabbing crotch: "It was a classless gesture. Guess that's part of who he is."

These two teams meet up again in Toronto on Tuesday night, so maybe we’ll get round two of Donaldson vs. Butchers then.
