Former Chicago Bears linebacker Brian Urlacher was one of those guys who didn’t change much throughout his NFL career. He was consistently one of the most dominant defensive players in the game. He played his entire 13-year career for one team. He rarely changed his look or style.
Part of that look was Urlacher’s lack of hair. Throughout his playing days, the linebacker always kept his head bald or shaved pretty tight to the scalp, as you can see in the photo above.
But it’s been a while since we’ve seen Urlacher, and his appearance on WGN in Chicago on Tuesday morning was a bit of a shock to the system? Why, you ask? BECAUSE THE MAN HAS HAIR. THICK, LUSCIOUS HAIR!

That sound you just heard was your entire world shattering around you.
This, of course, immediately prompted some discussion as to whether or not Urlacher has always had the ability to grow a solid head of hair, or if he got some help through a surgical procedure, a la Wayne Rooney. Urlacher quickly put that discussion to rest by revealing that he did indeed need a hair restoration procedure.
Just had a nice chat with @wgntv to show off my new look. Thanks to the team at @RestoreByKatona for the new hair! pic.twitter.com/mNHejP43TT
