Conor McGregor and Nate Diaz fought (almost) non-stop for 25 minutes at UFC 202. They were covered in blood, exhausted, and yet they were still throwing down with reckless abandon. As we saw after the fight, Conor McGregor’s leg was busted up from throwing so many leg kicks, and needed crutches to make his way around the bowels of the arena. The Irishman just went through a war, but that wouldn’t stop fans from wanting to get a photo opp.
Which leads to possibly the most awkward fan photo in recent MMA history. This photo found its way to Imgur, and it’s now a classic.

Imagine being that guy, so oblivious to an athlete in pain who’s tired and wanting to get dressed. Why must you take a photo at that moment, MMA fan? Was this your only chance to take a picture (a non-fist pose at least) with a drained Conor McGregor in his undies?
Look at Conor. Look at his eyes. He just wants to leave.
That is not the face of a man who wants to be taking pictures with a random fan. Not now. Celebrations would come, but first, let him put on his tailor-made suit, his $60K watch, and get in line like the rest of the fans. Poor Conor deserves just a little bit of peace. But hey, when you’re in the presence of the King, you need to do what you need to do.
