There’s an art to taking a perfect selfie — it’s mostly all about the angle and the lighting but, with a little practice, you can master the craft.
Something tells me this bro from Davidson has had quite a bit of practice himself. Cameras captured him attempting to take the perfect selfie at a basketball game over the weekend, and there’s a lot to digest here. First and foremost, the completely unbuttoned shirt. That’s certainly an aggresive look for anyone in a public space, even a college frat bro. You’re not going to win any new friends with that move.
But then there’s the moving parts in the selfie attempt. The hair slick. The lean. The lip bite. The forehead scrunch. The eyebrow raise. It’s all there, and then it happened — the photobomb from the kid in the Bulls jersey. SELFIE RUINED. BACK TO THE DRAWING BOARD.
Listen, we’ve all done our best to take a great selfie. Sometimes, it’s hard work. I’m not going to be too tough on this kid for trying to pull out all the stops, but he forgot the most important part of selfie-ing: Don’t let anyone catch you being “that guy” in public.
