Hey, let’s check in on Landon Donovan’s current thoughts on the 2015 Women’s World Cup. He posted some on Twitter:

Well… we see what you may — or may not — have done there, Landon.
The former U.S. Men’s National team star praised Abby Wambach’s leadership skills, which include dropping f-bombs on live television, following the U.S. Women’s 2-0 win over Germany in the Women’s World Cup semifinals. Wambach has started the past couple of games on the bench, and her role has shifted more towards that of a vocal leader. The tweet could easily be interpreted as a righteous shot directed toward Jürgen Klinsmann, who left Donovan off the 2014 World Cup squad when it became clear Donovan’s career was winding down.
At least that’s how analyst Alexi Lalas interpreted it.
Agreed. @J_Klinsmann should have taken @AbbyWambach. https://t.co/YSB2atDagU

Others, like Grant Wahl of Sports Illustrated, were more cautious.
Landon Donovan's return to Twitter has been a lively one. Like it. https://t.co/bqy5rp3won
