The name Eddie Hall might ring a bell for some of you. In 2015, the English strongman broke the deadlifting world record on two separate occasions. One of those times, he was cheered on by none other than Arnold Schwarzenegger.
That moment when you pull a WORLD RECORD deadlift 462kg and @Schwarzenegger is cheering you on.

You’ll be surprised to learn that it takes a lot of calories to lift that much weight. Like, 9,000 to be exact. You basically have to spend the entire day shoveling food into your mouth. Which, let’s be honest, there are worse things in the world. But I digress. Hall, who is a giant of a man standing at 6-foot-5, 385 pounds, detailed just some of the things he eats on a daily basis.
SPOILER: NOPE. NO WAY!
I’m sorry, excuse me, how many dinners are you eating, sir? And how are you not spending the entire night on the toilet? And what’s going on in that colon? You should probably get a colonoscopy pretty soon. There’s probably a whole banana stuck in there or something.
Now, to be fair, this is clean eating. Hall isn’t going to an all-you-can-eat buffet and scarfing down chicken wings and mashed potatoes and mac ‘n cheese and wow, that sounds really good, actually.
Most of his diet consists of protein powders and muscle gainers and some roughage, presumably to move all that stuff along. He also eats protein bars for desserts, calls it “pudding.”
Those big guys sure do have a sense of humor.
Eddie Hall looks to improve on his fourth place finish from the 2015 World’s Strongest Man Competition.
In the meantime, here’s a photo of what he looks like after eating all that food. Totally been there, brother!
