It appears the South Carolina loss was the last straw for Florida coach Will Muschamp. Several outlets, including Sports Illustrated and ESPN have reported the two will split ways at the end of the season.

Muschamp compiled a a 27-20 record with the Florida Gators over four years and a 5-4 record this season. This most recent loss against South Carolina was particularly bad, even by Muschamp’s standards. The Gamecocks came in with one of the worst defenses in the country and yet, Florida could only muster 278 yards of offense. Combine with that with the comedy of errors (video below) at the end of the game, the field goal and punt block and it’s a wonder how Muschamp lasted through the night.
