Floyd Mayweather Jr. Pays An Absurd Amount Of Money For His Haircuts

I am not a financial adviser, nor am I a barber, but it is my belief that Floyd Mayweather spends far too much money on haircuts.

According to TMZ Sports, the retired (although maybe not for long) boxer shells out $1,000 per haircut and typically cuts his hair two or three times a week. For those terribly bad at math, that comes out to $2,000 or $3,000 a week. And while that is a lot of money to pay weekly for any haircut, it becomes even more ridiculous when you remember that Mayweather is bald. Like, the guy has no hair. At all.

We all know that Mayweather’s pockets are pretty flush — his nickname is literally ‘Money,’ and he takes every opportunity to remind everyone how rich he is — but of all his ridiculous expenses, this one might be the most preposterous. He’s paying his personal haircutter between $104,000 and $156,000 a year just to shave his head and probably style his goatee. I’m sure she does a wonderful job (and good for her), but that seems grossly excessive regardless of your tax bracket.

It’s like cutting a huge check for someone to mow your lawn, except your lawn is literally a dirt pit with no grass. You could probably maintain that dirt pit yourself with minimal effort.

I love the feeling of a fresh haircut as much as anyone, but if I were bald, I would probably be quite content with keeping my yearly haircut budget under six figures. But, alas, I am clearly not Floyd Mayweather, so keep doing you, Floyd.
