The 2014 World Cup didn’t determine once and for all which nation is the greatest on earth, Mexico or Portugal, but it did prove that Germans are really good at soccer. About time those young upstarts in Germany make some global news. It was a marvelous World Cup, and not just because the United States did much better than anyone expected. There were memes and Rihanna and Waffle House smack downs and cameramen who were most definitely cameraMEN (and also some soccer).
