The NHL regular season is coming to an end, and the Stanley Cup Playoffs will be without a Canadian team for the first time since 1970. Our friends north of the border have a pretty sweet consolation prize, though: This video of Dachshunds playing hockey.
That’s right…what better way to cure your no-postseason blues than by watching two cute little doggies play the good ol’ game in their Maple Leafs and Canadiens sweaters? Sure, they don’t seem to grasp the rules of the game, or the fact that they’re supposed to be playing the puck tennis ball with their sticks and not their mouths, but they’re dogs and they make their own rules. We have to just accept that and enjoy the gift of their presence.
