Steelers linebacker James Harrison, 37, signed a two-year contract extension in March worth $2.75 million. If his workout routine is any indication, he’s doing everything he can to make sure he gives the team their money’s worth.
Earlier this week, it was reported that his workouts this summer have consisted of wearing sweats while he runs sprints in the scorching Arizona heat, and on Tuesday, the temperature reached 136 degrees. Later, he posted a video to Instagram showing his ability to bench press 505 pounds, and just for good measure, he went ahead and put it up twice.
The best part of the video is how all the plates didn’t even fit on the bar; he had to have a couple dangling down below. The sweat on his clothes make them look like the bottom of a used pizza box.
