Jerry Jones Says He’ll Go ‘Balls Out’ With Dez Bryant, And Now You Are Disgusted

The Dallas Cowboys might finally be really out of the playoff picture, despite being a shambling mess for damn near the whole season. They sit at 4-9, and the rest of the NFC East is at 6-7. So, with their star quarterback Tony Romo already done for the year with a thrice-broken collarbone, it would be reasonable for Dallas to wrap their other superstar, Dez Bryant, in styrofoam and put him on the shelf for when the games actually matter again in 2016. But Jerry Jones is having none of that, and he said so in a colorful way on Tuesday:

“Balls out” is a phrase best suited for a frat house, not for a septuagenarian.Β Regardless, Dez already missed six games with the broken foot Jerry’s referencing above, and he’s one of the fiercest competitors in the entire NFL, so it would probably be close to impossible keeping him off the field. And if the Cowboys’ recent performance is any indication, they won’t need to keep Dez off the field to tank for a high draft pick.

Oh, and if you thought that was Jerry’s only strange quote from that radio interview, we have one more — and it’s about Jason Garrett:

We don’t even know where to start with that one, so we’ll just leave it be.
