Bummed that you’re going to be in New York this weekend but don’t have a ticket to Super Bowl XLVIII? Wishing you could somehow pick up a pair of tickets to the big game to watch the Denver Broncos’ high-powered offense try to get past the Seattle Seahawks’ incredible defense? Dreaming of being able to arrive at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey in style with a lovely lady on your arm so you can take plenty of pictures and send them to your ex-wife along with a message like, “Suck it, Brenda! I don’t see Ted the loser cardiologist taking you or our kids to the Super Bowl!”?
Well our good friends at Rick’s Cabaret in New York City would like to make your dreams come true. Just by showing up to the gentlemen’s club on Saturday, you’ll be entered into a drawing for a pair of Super Bowl tickets, and winning them from Rick’s would be a hell of a lot better than your current Plan A of watching the game at Hooters.
“Wow! That’s awesome,” said Rick’s Cabaret Girl Wendy. “Every night at Rick’s is like winning a contest–a hundred sexy girls taking off their clothes–isn’t that enough? Imagine wining the tickets–that’s too much for me to comprehend. Rick’s Cabaret and the Super Bowl is like the greatest weekend ever!”
The lucky winner will be driven in the Ricksmobile.
Rick’s Cabaret Girl Lindsay said, “I hope the winner takes me with him. I promise I will keep him warm during the game, haha!”
Haha, indeed, Lindsay. Now I just have to figure out a way to trick them into thinking I’m at Rick’s 1,000 times this Saturday.

I was really surprised and kind of happy for Jabari Parker when news first surfaced that he might be staying at Duke for at least one more season instead of entering the NBA Draft as a surefire Top 3 pick. That is, until I realized that the Orlando Magic have quietly been very keen on him during this latest tank of a season. I’ll never be happy, will I?
