The No. 10 Oklahoma Sooners don’t play again until next Thursday, Nov. 7, when they visit No. 6 Baylor, so Coach Bob Stoops and his crew decided to let the players have a little fun during practice this week. Personally, I believe that not only should dressing in costumes be mandatory for every sports team that has practices during Halloween week, but any games that are actually played on Halloween should also feature every player dressed in costumes.
For example, the South Florida Bulls players should have to dress up like a team that can play offense tonight. That’s such a sick college football burn.

NCAA Football: USF at Houston – 7 PM ET on ESPN
The Houston Cougars are quietly in first place in the American Athletic Conference at 6-1 (3-0), but unlike UCF (also 6-1, 3-0), the Cougars aren’t ranked. With a win tonight, the Cougars will set up a very important game on Nov. 9 between UCF and Houston that will leave one of these teams in the driver’s seat. So are the Cougars nervous about this? Apparently not, according to this prank that coach Tony Levine played on his team this week.
Gee, are they fired up for USF? I can’t tell. Also, it should have been a cheerleader outfit under the cloth.
NCAA Football: Rice at N. Texas – 7:30 PM ET on Fox Sports 1
I will watch this game if Jayson Carter plays the whole time.
NCAA Football: Louisiana-Monroe at Troy – 7:30 PM ET on ESPNU
I will watch this one if my remote breaks.
NBA: Knicks at Bulls – 8 PM ET on TNT
NBA: Warriors at Clippers – 10:30 PM ET on TNT
I’ll make every sports fan who complains about the baseball season being too long a deal – we can cut the MLB season to 100 games if we cut the NBA season to 60. Are we all in agreement? Good. Now let’s all agree as well that no league will ever cut games and lose millions in the process. If anything, baseball will soon be 200 games and the NBA will have a game every day of the year.
MLS Playoffs: Houston vs. Montreal – 8:30 PM ET on NBC Sports
Nah.
NCAA Football: Arizona State at Wash. State – 10:30 PM ET on ESPN
Has Arizona State agreed to institute my cheerleader-only game camera? Not yet? Get on it, ASU.
World Series Game 7: Cardinals at Red Sox – Never o’clock on nothing
