Miami Heat stars LeBron James and Dwayne Wade made an unexpected appearance on last night’s WWE Raw, a two hour birthday party for Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson that played out like a Southern Florida fever dream. The duo wished the former WWE Champion a happy birthday, recited his catch phrases and just generally enjoyed themselves while Chris Bosh was off somewhere muttering under his breath and running free throw drills.
In addition to the Heat (and the Heat dancers) and Miami-native The Rock, Raw featured a Who’s Who in the DC Universe of Miami celebrities, including Dan Marino and rapper Pitbull. And, uh, Tyler Perry. WWE loves their SportCenter moment (and if you play any professional sport you should call them up, because they might let you pin Daniel Bryan), and until this video is taken down for infringing on copyrights, they’ve got one right here.
Earlier in the show, bad guy announcer Michael Cole tried to antagonize the Miami crowd by wearing a Kevin Garnett jersey, but ended up getting called a bitch and thrown to the ground, sort of like the actual Celtics.
