The first episode of College GameDay for the 2015 season took place at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, the site of tonight’s showdown between the No. 3 Alabama Crimson Tide and the No. 20 Wisconsin Badgers. Of course, this meant that Lee Corso’s headgear pick was going to involve the game between the two powerhouse programs, and he didn’t do anything too surprising when he picked the Crimson Tide.
Corso pointed out that he really wanted to bring in a live elephant for his pick, but he wasn’t able to do that, so he just said whatever and threw on Alabama’s headgear. Sadly, this meant that we weren’t able to see Lee Corso use a live elephant to pick a game, and all of us who were hoping he’d bring out a live badger to spite the Crimson Tide were solely disappointed. Still, it was great to see the familiar site of Lee Corso throwing on a mascot head, especially with the major change at host that GameDay went through this season.
