Seattle manager Lloyd McClendon put on quite the show last night at a Mariners game against the Yankees. It all started when catcher Mike Zunino didn’t agree with a check swing call from first-base ump Will Little. Things escalated from there as McClendon came to his defense, then got the hook from the home-plate ump.
Cue Angry McClendon kicking and screaming.

Call me crazy, but a managerial meltdown is always better with “Yakety Sax.”
you have to love the attempted eloquence in an ejected manager’s body language
Jim Harbaugh is unimpressed.
Meh. He set the bar too high for himself when he walked off with first base in Pittsburgh [www.youtube.com]
Nowhere to go but down.
classic meltdown. looks like he’s mellowing as he gets older.
he needs to pick up the bases and chuck them.
Do managers get fined or banned for multiple games for doing this stuff, or is it just wrestling no one cares keep people watching?
I was there in Pittsburgh during the summer of 2001 when he took first base into the dugout. The crowd lost their shit. It was amazing.
