Chevrolet sent Rikk Wilde, the company’s Kansas City regional zone manager, to the podium last night to present a new truck to World Series MVP Madison Bumgarner. We’re not sure why they did, but we couldn’t be happier with their decision, because Wilde went full Chris Farley during his awkward attempt to hand the keys over to Bumgarner.
Despite having his handy notes to read from, Wilde instantly became winded before his first awkward sentence was through. He then proceeded to stumble his way through the entire presentation, with the highlight being his instantly infamous endorsement of the 2015 Chevy Colorado: “It combines class winning and leading, you know… technology and stuff.”
