Tennessee Titans fans got a scare on Sunday afternoon when their rookie quarterback Marcus Mariota took a dangerous hit to the knee during the first half against the Miami Dolphins. Mariota, who was drafted second overall by the Titans in this year’s NFL Draft, went down and appeared to be hurt for several moments.
After being tended to by the team’s medical staff, Mariota eventually got up and stayed in the game, but Titans fans and the team’s coaching staff have to be a bit on-edge as they watch him drop back for the remainder of the game.
