Professional surfer Mick Fanning was attacked by a shark last weekend during a competition in South Africa. For most people that would be enough to never go within 20 miles of a body of water again, but Fanning is apparently over the incident and back in the water, according to a picture he posted to his Instagram account on Friday.
Here’s the video of Fanning getting attacked by a shark at last week’s J Bay Open final:

Fanning said that he felt like he was starting to get pulled underwater, and fortunately he got away by punching it a few times. While it’s good that he knows how to handle this situation, let’s all hope that it never happens again.
