I’m actually thoroughly impressed with how this mom composed herself. Scott decided to take his mom out on an autocross course, and, luckily, he had a dashboard video camera to capture her reaction. Autocross is just simply driving cars through obstacle courses that are typically mapped out with cones. But you are timed for your completion of the course, and you can compare how your vehicle held up against others. This particular autocross race was a Drive Fast event — the autocross company is based out of Tampa, Fla. It was founded in 2006.
Besides her saying “eee” throughout the ride, her telling her son that the car will need new tires afterwards is hilarious. Her expletive at the beginning of the ride was pretty great, too. I can only imagine what my mother’s reaction would be if she was the one sitting in this passenger seat. Good for you, Scott’s mom. You did great.
