Eleven-time Monster Jam world champion Tom Meents landed the first-ever front flip in a monster truck on Saturday night—well, sort of. Had he actually landed on all four wheels cleanly, he would have set a Guinness World Record. Instead, Meents’ car landed on its back wheels and flipped another two times. It was pretty rad, but not a world record as defined by Guinness.
Still, the laws of physics appear to have been tampered with momentarily during the front flip. which is a remarkable thing in and of itself. Afterward, Meents gave perhaps the most monster truck speech ever, ending it in a “woooooooo!!!”
