When you were in high school you probably just mumbled, “Hey do you want to go to prom with me?” to your potential date and looked like a dork just like the rest of us. Well, nowadays, it doesn’t work like that.
In the era of elaborate “promposals,” what this Levittown, New York teenager did to ask her date to prom may take the cake. Sarah Kardonsky of Division Avenue High enlisted the help of the New York Jets when it came time to ask her friend Mike to the prom.
In an 80-second video Sarah made, she first says, “Mike Pagano, I knew you’d say ‘yes’ if I asked you to prom, but I thought I’d ‘Jets’ ask,” and then nine Jets players proceed to do the deed themselves. Antonio Cromartie is the last player to ask Mike before Sarah closes the video draped in a Jets shirt.
Sarah showed Mike the video at school and it worked, Mike said yes. While wearing a Jets jersey no less.
👍 RT @JVFarrell: What a great way to ask someone to prom @CRO31 thanks for your help !!! @michaelpagano_ #Jets #Jetup http://t.co/cbrACoEVbs

The Jets might not have a quarterback, and they might win less than four games this season, but hey, at least they got Sarah her date for prom.
