NFL teams seem to enjoy asking prospects incredibly inappropriate questions during the lead up to the Draft. For example, last year, the Falcons had to apologize to then-Ohio State prospect Eli Apple after asking him in an interview if he likes men.
This year, the future draft pick who went public with a bizarre question was Mike Williams, a wide receiver out of Clemson. Williams is the top receiver in this Draft and will almost certainly go high in the first round.
One NFL team thought it was really important to ask one of Williams’ fellow draft prospects how he would kill someone. Seriously. Williams recalled his friend’s story on The Rich Eisen Show.

“There’s been some pretty weird questions but I can’t really remember them, to be honest,” Williams said when asked about the strangest question he received.
“You get some weird questions,” Williams continued. “I mean, I heard somebody, somebody I know, got a question like ‘How would you kill somebody? Would you use a gun or a knife?’”
Eisen was taken aback by this, while Williams laughed at the absurdity of the entire thing. I’m going to operate under the assumption that the player said “I would not kill anyone,” largely because if they answered “I’d use a gun/knife,” we probably would have heard about it by now.
Surprisingly, this isn’t the first time we’ve heard about an NFL team asking a draft hopeful a murder-based question – a former lineman recalled that a team once asked him “If you could kill someone and not get caught, would you?” No matter how it is phrased, NFL teams should probably considering retiring murder questions.
