Former LSU WR Odell Beckham Jr. Had The Perfect Response For That Hurricane Katrina Sign

By now you’ve probably seen the disgraceful sign regarding Hurricane Katrina that was put up by some Alabama fans on Friday.

While it was an absolutely terrible and classless sign, it’s not fair to lump all Alabama fans in with those neanderthals, and for their part, the University already responded saying they were “appalled,” and someone got the fans to take the sign down.

Despite that, it’s still going to be tough to forget for LSU fans, and anyone really that was affected by the devastation of Hurricane Katrina.

Being from Baton Rouge and having attended LSU, Odell Beckham Jr. knows that as well as anyone, but the New York Giants wideout took the high road with this Instagram post in response to the ‘Bama fans.

Beckham Jr.’s caption on the photo of LSU running back Leonard Fournette reads:

Katrina never broke us…it made us savages. #4ThaCity #Follow

Along with being the front-runner for the Heisman Trophy, Fournette of course had to experience first-hand the destruction of Hurricane Katrina, and he had a response of his own on Twitter prior to the game.

As if the storied rivalry between LSU and Alabama and the potential playoff implications weren’t enough, there is now some serious additional hatred between the two schools, and Saturday night’s game should be an extremely emotional battle.
