We’ve talked about rugby 7s speedster Carlin Isles before, but he isn’t the only freakishly fast guy on the Team USA rugby squad. Perry Baker, a former Arena Football player recently showed his quickness in a match against Canada during the World Rugby Sevens Series in Las Vegas.
In the clip above, Baker takes the ball at the five meter line and boots it down the pitch and blazes past the Canadian defense en route to a completely untouched try for Team USA.
Later in the match, Perry turned on the jets and did it again, blazing past the entire Canadian defense for yet another try.
Unfortunately, despite Baker’s best efforts, Team USA ended up drawing against Canada in that match. You can try watching Perry Baker, Carlin Isles and the rest of Team USA this summer in Rio de Janeiro at the 2016 Olympics, where rugby 7s will be a trial sport.
