Ryan Howard’s time in Philadelphia may be coming to a pretty ugly end, both on and off the field. The veteran Phillies first baseman is having a real tough year at the plate, but he still deserves better than the treatment he’s getting from certain fans.
Take this one, for example …

Philadelphia police are looking for the guy in the gray jersey, as he apparently threw an aluminum beer bottle at Howard during Saturday’s loss at home to the Milwaukee Brewers. Though the bottle didn’t actually hit Howard, investigators are sharing the photo in hopes of identifying the man and, presumably, punishing him for being a terrible human.
As for Howard, he was understandably upset about the incident after the game.
“I’ve done too much in this town to have that kind of stuff,” Howard said.“If you want to yell out, `You suck,’ that’s whatever. But when you start throwing stuff, that’s when stuff gets personal.”
