Jackson, who had three fights in Bellator MMA, claimed certain aspects of his contract weren’t fulfilled, allowing him to terminate the contract early and re-sign with the UFC. Bellator filed a lawsuit, and as of this morning, a judge granted the injunction, meaning Rampage won’t be fighting Fabio “The Iron Hillbilly” Maldonado in the co-main event.
This doesn’t necessarily mean Rampage is going back to Bellator, though, as it was only a preliminary injunction to prevent him from fighting on this card. As more information regarding this lawsuit becomes available, we will have updates.
