Late Tuesday night, several NFL players began tweeting about St. Louis wide receiver Stedman Bailey. Unfortunately, those tweets — usually offering thoughts and prayers — now revolved around a frightening situation with the third-year player.
According to multiple reports, Bailey sustained a “head wound” during a shooting while in Miami, his hometown. Pro Football Talk reported that Bailey was shot, along with NFL.com’s Mike Silver and Matt Miller of Bleacher Report claiming the injury is not believed to be life-threatening, citing members of the Rams organization and a teammate:
