As the riotous uproar in Baltimore spreads to every corner of society, some public figures have made statements in an effort to calm the rumbling unrest. The Rock has joined the chorus of people calling for peace, despite deep civic inequity and corruption.

Whether The Rock is qualified to speak on social issues is another point entirely, but his heart is in the right place in calling for peace. Maybe his loyal fans will see it that way, too.
