Late in the fourth quarter of their contest on Saturday, the Connecticut Huskies attempted to pull a fast one on Missouri by attempting a fake field goal when they were trailing by three points. To say Missouri saw the shenanigans coming would be quite the understatement.
The trickery never even came close to fooling the Tigers, who had multiple players swarming the pass from the Huskies holder, who threw a delicious floater right down the middle of the field. Unsurprisingly, Missouri picked it off and effectively ended the game.
That’s about as hilarious a finish as you’d expect from a 9-6 game with no made field goals. Although it made for a pretty nice graphic:
