UFC Fight Night 47 Results And Live Discussion: Ryan Bader Vs. Ovince St. Preux

Hey friends, it’s finally back! UFC has returned after three weeks of bleak nothingness (And World Series of Fighting, but I repeat myself) with a mid-level card, woo! Fight Night 47 isn’t the best card in the world, but there’s some decent looking fights out there. (Check out our amazing expert predictions!)

The prelims start on you guessed it, Fox Sports 2 (Wait, what? No Fight Pass?) at 8:00PM ET. Tom Watson and Sam Alvey are two power-punching middleweights, so I’m expecting a fun fight there. The prelims also feature what should be a super-awesome women’s bantamweight bout as former title challenger Sara McMann takes on undefeated Invicta FC champ (You know the drill by now, WATCH INVICTA, YO!) Lauren Murphy. There’s also going to be a flyweight contest between Jussier Formiga and Zach Makovsky, and dang, that’s gonna be rad as heck, too! No wonder it’s set up as the People’s Main Event.

The main card moves to Fox Sports 1 at 10:00PM ET for six fights. Thiago Tavares is dropping down to featherweight to take on hard-punching Robbie Peralta, so that should be interesting. There’s gonna be heavyweights slangin’ ‘n bangin’, as Jack May and Shawn Jordan square off. Handsome man Alan Jouban is going to take on Seth Baczynski in welterweight action, so hooray for pretty dudes fighting. Gray Maynard and Ross Pearson meet in the co-main event, and in the main event of our evening, Ryan Bader and Ovince St. Preux are going to throw down for five rounds in the light heavyweight division. Both guys are in the top 10, so a win, especially in impressive fashion, could help push either man closer to title contention (Provided everyone stays healthy)

Lots of potentially cool fights, so come join the fun folks of With Leather for up to the second reactions and overall great times!
