Johny “Bigg Rigg” Hendricks has one of the most appropriate nicknames, because he hits like a dang truck. In his UFC debut against Amir Sadollah, Hendricks won in under 30 seconds, though there was a hint of an early stoppage. He continued with a prolonged knockout of human punching bag Charlie Brenneman, and then followed that up by putting away TJ Waldburger, in another mildly early stoppage finish.
Hendricks’s next two knockouts were so devastating that there was no question about the stoppages. He took out Jon Fitch in just 12 seconds at UFC 141. Hendricks then sent Martin “The Hitman” Kampmann flying across the cage with his patented monstrous left hand in the co-main event of UFC 154, in just 46 seconds of the very first round.
