Tonight, UFC returns to Chicago for a packed card of free fights with UFC on Fox 10, culminating in what is essentially a number one contender shot for Anthony “Showtime” Pettis’ lightweight title. Maybe, if Pettis can stay healthy, or TJ Grant’s brain doesn’t fix itself in time, and the winner of this fight doesn’t get hurt. Honestly, the fights are going to be fun, but for Dana White to say that Thomson is next in line for a title shot with how often both he and Pettis are hurt is madness. Anyway, you can check out With Leather’s Official Predictions before diving into the full slate of fights.
In addition to that quasi-contender match, there’s some heavyweight action, Donald “I Do Not Have Boring Fights” Cerrone, something called a Yaotzin Meza, and not one, but TWO Wolverines throwing down (Sadly, not against each other).
The early prelim is on Fight Pass at 4:30 PM, regular prelims are over at Fox Sports One starting at 5:00 PM, and the main card kicks off on Fox at 8:00 PM.
