A heavyweight title shot was potentially on the line in Rotterdam between two heavyweight teammates, and despite Andrei Arlovski’s strong early efforts, Alistair Overeem reigned supreme on his home turf.
Check out the full results below.
Main card
—Alistair Overeem def. Andrei Arlovski via TKO (round 2).
Watch the replay of the knockout here.
—Stefan Struve def. Antonio Silva via TKO (round 1).
It only took 16 seconds for Struve to clock Bigfoot across the chin, then finish him off with knees and elbows in front of his home crowd. It was the third fastest finish in UFC heavyweight history. After the fight, Struve thanked Jordan Parsons, his training partner who passed away this week after a hit and run incident.

—Josh Emmett def. Jon Tuck via split decision. This was quite the debut for Emmett. He looked like he dislocated his pinkie finger in the third round and hid it from the ref so the fight could go on. If you’re into seeing that sort of thing, you can see it (all of it) here.
So Josh Emmett has a bone sticking out through the skin on his left hand. That's nasty. And he still got the win#UFCRotterdam
