The Minnesota Vikings had only a chip-shot field goal standing in their way of a wild card round victory over the defending NFC champion Seattle Seahawks, but Blair Walsh shanked a 27-yarder and Minnesota was left heartbroken with a 10-9 defeat.
While Vikings’ fans were likely inconsolable after that kind of loss in the postseason, the rest of the Internet saw it as a great opportunity to post some memes.
There was of course, plenty of crying Jordan’s out there.

Not to be outdone though, the crying Bengals’ fan from Saturday night (along with Brian Hoyer) also made her way into several memes of Walsh’s failed game-winner.

Although it was still shorter than an extra point, Walsh’s kick was impeded by the fact that the he had try make it with the laces in which no doubt at least somewhat affected the end result.

That one is going to sting for a while, Vikings fans.
